How affiliate links work

Some links on ByDueDate go to retailers, brands and services that pay us when you buy something or sign up through that link. This includes:

  • A commission on products you buy.
  • A flat fee when you create something through our link, such as a baby registry.
  • A fee when you submit a request through our link, such as a form to check insurance coverage for a breast pump or a life insurance quote.

You don't pay anything extra. The price is the same whether or not you use our link. Pages with affiliate links say so before the first link.

What commissions don't change

  • We decide what to include and in what order before checking whether a product earns us anything.
  • We recommend free alternatives and tell you what to skip, even when that earns us nothing.
  • We never accept payment for a positive mention. If we ever publish sponsored content, it will be clearly labeled "Sponsored".
  • We don't list prices, because they change. Always check the retailer for the current price.

Retailer and network programs

We work with affiliate networks and individual brands. When a specific program requires its own statement, we list it here.
